The Renaissance of Expression
Crypto taught us so many things; it taught us how to be a self-sovereign individual, it taught us that wealth can be converted to a means of self-expression that doesn’t have to be left in a bank presumed dead under the ‘protective’ guise of the government, it taught us that artists of all statures can be fairly compensated for what they contribute to culture. The list goes on and on and this is just the beginning.
We liken this moment to the creation of a new nation state. A state that doesn’t follow traditional barriers but that is comprised of a group of like-minded individuals who came together to exercise their personal freedoms to the fullest extent in the digital frontier.
We hearken back to the 18th century, when a group of ‘anarchists’ and ‘tyrants’ united together under the common belief of a new standard of personal freedoms. These patriots went up against all odds and defeated the megalith of Old Power, in turn creating the biggest economy in modern history, The United States of America.
Upon a brief glimpse of the world it doesn’t take much imagination to wonder what could have been if they didn’t risk everything for the personal freedom and rights that we take for granted every day of our lives.
Freedom and democracy were not granted, they were won. It’s easy to forget the sacrifices of our forefathers.
Times are changing fast and the dimensions of freedom are evolving as well. We must not sit on our hands while this new paradigm comes into play in the world theatre.
The difference now is that our enemies are not an army, we don’t need to raise arms and risk our lives. Our foes are politicians and bureaucrats with murky interests clinging meekly and desperately to old institutions and outdated laws.
We are in the middle of a renaissance of personal expression. Technology is enabling higher degrees of creativity and freedom to individuals at a pace that has never before been seen in history.
Crypto is at the forefront of this evolution and entrenched political institutions don’t like it for just that reason. It is taking unnecessary power out of their hands.
We call upon you, not for what you are but who you are and what you represent in this key turning point in history. What we leave behind as a legacy is in our hands and we must act now before it is too late.
We the builders must not hide in the shadows any longer. We must not be held back. Our tentacles of innovation must be left free to permeate the world and better mankind.
